Natural Selection 2 is now available in 2 versions for pre-order. The first is $20 US which includes the game and beta testing. The other is $40 US which includes the game, alpha and beta testing, as well as a set of black armor while playing as a marine. Also, check out the teaser video, I must say the Onos looks quite bad ass.

$20? Aw, I was hoping it would be under that.

Well unless they make sure their servers are sv_consistency 1, or have some other way to block skins, that "black armour" seems kind of redundant.

You guys have to keep in mind that this game is running on an entirely new engine, which is not cheap to make. The only reason i bought the $40 package is because i love the work they've done, and i want to support them. i did not buy it for any of the listed perks. The fact that they HAVE a $20 package is amazing. Gmod10 is only $10 is because it runs almost entirely off of someone else's work. IMO i believe gmod10 should be free, because garry and team didn't really do anything, they made a sandbox mode for a completed game. NS2 is entirely new, new engine, new models, new maps, new textures, new sounds, ect., all done by them. (btw if you own halo 3, you really shouldn't be complaining about the price considering halo 3 was $60, and is still $40, for a game that had a few weapons added in, a new story line, and some new multi player things...)
